Logging in to the RouteConverter service

An account is required to add routes to the catalog or change existing entries.

What the account is for

Browsing the route catalog needs no account. Adding routes or changing anything in it does. See The route catalog.

Log in

Open Extras → Login. The dialog shows Username: and Password:. Fill them in, then press Login.

Register

The same dialog also registers a new account. It asks for:

• First name:
• Last name:
• Email:
• Username:
• Password:
• Repeat password:

Check the terms-of-usage checkbox, then press Register. The terms must be accepted to register.

Log out

Extras → Logout signs out again.

If it fails

The app reports that the username or password is wrong — it does not say which. Nothing is stored until a login succeeds.
