The route catalog
The Browse tab shows a shared, server-side catalog of routes, organised in categories.
What the catalog is
The RouteCatalog is a route collection stored on the RouteConverter service, not on your computer. Routes in it are organised into categories, and anyone running RouteConverter can browse it.
The two panes
The Browse tab splits into categories on one side — see The category tree — and the routes of the selected category on the other — see The route list.
Extras → Login signs you in; Extras → Logout signs you out again. Browsing the catalog works without an account, but adding or changing anything needs one.
Add a route
Add a route from a file or from a URL, using the buttons under the route list. Anything you add to the catalog is stored on the server and visible to every RouteConverter user, not just you.
Open a route
Selecting a route in the list loads it, so it can be edited on the Convert tab and the map like any local file.
