Release 3.5 from 03.07.2026

• requires Java 21 or later; the Windows and macOS downloads bundle a matching Java runtime automatically
• ships one Windows download per product instead of separate "Bundle" and "OpenSource" builds
• fixes a corrupt or outdated background map file (e.g. world.map) never getting replaced because a stale ETag blocked the re-download
• removes the obsolete browser-based map view, now fully replaced by mapsforge
• logs background-map load failures for easier troubleshooting
